Fort Worth Campus Pastor

Meet Tyler

It was the summer of 2010, and from the outside looking in, everything seemed right in my world. I had been married for 3 years, had a very financially rewarding job as the general manager of two health clubs, a nice house, a nice truck, and a nice life. I was at the top of the world at the age of 26, or at least it seemed that way, but on the inside, I was a prisoner to sin. It was during that summer that I realized my brokenness before God and my need for a savior. In June of 2010, I surrendered my life to Jesus Christ. Since that time, God has faithfully been working in my life to set me free from sin and make me more like Christ.

I grew up in the small town of Bridge City, Texas with awesome parents and two brothers who are my closest friends. I played college football for a brief stint at Southern Arkansas University before transferring to Lamar University where I graduated with my Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Exercise Science. I then worked in the health and fitness industry for six years at which point God called me into vocational ministry. I spent my first year in ministry going through the Residency Program at Watermark, where I learned to abide with Jesus and was equipped for ministry. I now have the privilege of serving on staff as a Single Men’s Community Coordinator, where I get to exercise my passion of making disciples and shepherding men.

I married my wife, Lindsay, in 2007. She is God’s gracious provision and the best helper I could ever hope for and certainly do not deserve.

I am a country boy at heart. In my free time I enjoy fly fishing, hunting, camping, listening to good country music while sitting around a campfire with friends, and driving down dirt roads, which are really hard to find in Dallas!
